Bottlenose dolphin, known by its charismatic and intelligent
star animals in aquarium shows. They looks friendly, delightful and always been
considered as best friend of human. This dolphin also can be trained to perform
a complex tricks. Their size can grow up to 3 to 4.2 meter and weight up
to 500 kg .
These lustrous swimmers can reach the speeds of 30 kilometers per
hour. Due to its expertise in echolocation, this dolphin can track their prey
by sending 1,000 clicking noises that help them to be able to detect the
location, size and shape of their target. That’s some awesome ability of the
bottlenose dolphin. However, this dolphin also known by its violence because
they been recognized to harm and kill their own offspring. Not enough with
that, they also kill porpoise and play or juggle with their dead carcass just
for no other reason but fun.
Bottlenose also known to be aggressive in sexual
competition, whereas in 1994 in San Paolo, Brazil, a male Bottlenose has recognized
2 males as it’s competitive and killed one of them.
