Arctic fox or its scientific name, Alopex lagopus is an extremely
resistant animal that manage to survive in frigid cruel Arctic temperatures
that can be as low as -50 degrees. As a crucial adaptation element to the
chilly climate, these fox has furry soles, short ears and a short muzzle. Arctic
foxes live in burrows and they may tunnel into the snow to create shelter
during a blizzard. Arctic foxes have incredibly beautiful white or sometimes
blue-gray coats that act as a very effective winter camouflage that give huge
advantages during hunting as its allow these foxes to blend into the snow and
ice. With these pure white coats and its
stunning light brown eyes, this animal really majestic in the Arctic.
